Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Advanced support for PCs and PC operating systems including Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Windows Image definition, creation and maintenance.
Design and configure Active Directory policy to control and improve user experience.
Network troubleshooting as it applies to office operations.
Third level support and ownership of problems as they pertain to the office.
Day to day configuration and management of application used in support of office support including but not limited to, Sophos AntiVirus, LanDesk, SolarWinds, Active Directory, Exchange,
Analyze performance of Service Desk activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.
Assess need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) based on request trends and make recommendations.
Oversee development and dissemination of help sheets, usage guides, and FAQ lists for end users.
Train and/or mentor IT Systems Analysts and other members of the support staff.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Travel - Potential for travel 40%.
Essential Skills
Advanced working knowledge of PC operating systems including Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Demonstrated working knowledge of PC servers and operating systems including Server 2003, 2008 and 2012.
Demonstrated working knowledge of IP based networking technologies and equipment.
Ability to coordinate and execute projects associated with improving desktop management and support including but not limited to, PC imaging, Active Directory Policies, installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
Provide trouble-shooting and problem resolution skills.
Analyze performance of Service Desk activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.

Manage systems used in support of our dental offices including but not limited to SolarWinds, LanDesk, Sophos AntiVirus, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange,

Train and/or mentor IT Systems Analysts and other staff.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
Exceptional knowledge of
computer
hardware.
Deep-seated experience with desktop and server operating systems.
In-depth working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
