FamilyCare, Inc. is seeking an innovative and forward thinking Medicaid Program Coordinator works under the direction of, and in collaboration with, the Program Integrity and Project
, to help ensure the Medicaid program is operating effectively and in compliance with OHA contract and Oregon Administrative Rules. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Medicaid Program. The coordinator will develop and maintain constructive and beneficial relationships with internal and external customers in an overall effort to drive FamilyCare's Mission to Create Healthy Individuals through Innovative Systems.
Bachelor's Degree or related experience
Minimum five (5) years direct experience in managed care program operations or policy management
Specific knowledge of Oregon Health Plan Medicaid Program and Program regulations.
Coordinate and support the department in developing a variety of materials and documents related to the Medicaid OHP program, including but not limited to the Member Handbook.
Collaborate with Marketing for updates and recommendations for the FamilyCare Website as it pertains to the Medicaid Program.
Provide professional, technical and operational guidance to internal and external customers on issues relating to the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and Department of Medical Assistance Program (DMAP).
Identifies potential areas of program vulnerability and coordinate the development of resolutions.
Understand and provide guidance to external/internal customers around FamilyCare Policies & Procedures and how they support and relate to OHA/DMAP Medicaid program.
Work with Compliance to ensure all reports and contractual obligations for the Medicaid program are completed accurately and timely.
Develop internal policy and procedures as needed for any new and/or changes to the Medicaid Program requirements.
Represent FamilyCare at various State or other program related meetings.
